About the event
The Red Cross Adult CPR AED course prepares participants to recognize and respond confidently to cardiac emergencies — the kind of situations where quick, informed action can make all the difference. Based on the American Red Cross's First Aid/CPR/AED program, training covers the core emergency action steps of:
Check–Call–Care - Check the scene, the person in distress, call for assistance and immediately provide care.
How to assess responsive and unresponsive individuals, and when to decide to call 911.
How to perform CPR and use an AED for cardiac arrest.
The course is delivered by a Red Cross-certified CPR AED instructor and runs from 2 to 3 hours. Upon completion, participants receive a free digital participant handbook and Red Cross certification, equipping them with the skills and confidence to be the difference between a bystander and a lifesaver in the moments before professional help arrives.
